SPResso talks 09.04.2025 - MP-SPR and extracellular vesicles – investigating EV-cell interactions and protein corona formation in plasma
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are lipid bilayer-enclosed particles naturally released by nearly all cell types, playing a vital role in cell-to-cell communication by transferring biomolecules.
We’re excited to have doctoral researcher Heikki Kyykallio present his latest findings on the use of MP-SPR (Multi-Parametric Surface Plasmon Resonance) to study EV interactions in a label-free manner. He will demonstrate how MP-SPR can capture and characterize EV subpopulations, examine the impact of hyaluronic acid surface decoration on cell interactions, and reveal how these modifications influence protein corona formation in plasma.
Don’t miss this opportunity to explore how MP-SPR is advancing extracellular vesicle research.
