New Application Note #180

This Application Note explores the use of Multi-Parametric Surface Plasmon Resonance (MP-SPR) for characterizing functionalized graphene surfaces in biosensing applications.

Graphene-coated SPR sensors offer an alternative platform for ligand immobilization and can provide enhanced signal responses in selected applications. Using MP-SPR, real-time and label-free detection of virus–antibody interactions and cell interactions can be achieved, supporting studies of immune receptor binding and cell-based biosensing.

This application note is based on the publications by Hasnain et al., Advanced Healthcare Materials (2025) and Hasnain et al., Advanced Science (2026), demonstrating the versatility of MP-SPR in advanced surface characterization and biosensing research.
